View from our room was very good. Dolphin pond was pretty exceptional and fun to look at. Beach proximity to room, pool, and beachfront bar was top notch. The Beach attendant getting us set up in lawn chairs on beach, then installing towel cover, table, etc. Very nice.

Exceptional customer service, beautiful beach location, quiet and peaceful. Cultural activities that preserved the Hawaiian heritage were thoughtful, inspiring and informative. We especially enjoyed making leis during Lei Day and taking Hula classes-both complimentary! The property was immaculate and decor well designed. Staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. A world away from touristy Waikiki but close enough to explore it.

The rooms were great, the beach was exceptional, and most of all, the people were AMAZING. We especially loved the old timers. They were all retired maybe and this was their second career? What ever it was, it was so sweet to be taken care of grandpa and granny. Also the spa staff were so skilled and I have been to many many many spas throughout the world. But they were experienced and knowledgeable and not pushy. I liked that the gratuity was included so that I didn't have to worry about it afterward. The receptionist at the spa could have been a little sweeter.

I loved the beach front and the pontoon to swim to - lovely swimming spot. Lovely pool side staff. The musician in the evenings was a definite plus and set the ambience just right for pre dinner or dinner. He was very good. Was it Johnny Valentine?

The property is secluded from the Waikiki. so that's a huge plus. it has its acess to the nice seculeded public beach. so much less hustle bustle compared to Waikiki.

We spent four nights in early December. We upgraded our room to an ocean view, top floor, overlooking the dolphin pools. Worth every $ !! The staff was super friendly and attentive to our needs. We appreciated the quiet and relaxed atmosphere, the beautiful beach, and the food. Would definitely stay here again!

Resort was beautiful! Location was a dream, beautiful pool area and beach. I couldn't have wished for something better! Loved the dolphins and the breakfast buffet was incredible.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at The Kahala. The resort grounds are absolutely beautiful - from the lobby to the veranda to the pool area, dolphin cove, and beach - and the staff service is just top-notch, among the best I've experienced. Certain staff members (Linda, Carolyn, Jamaica, Evangelina, Rudy, Leilani, and the whole valet crew!) made our stay that much more comfortable and special. We look forward to future family TLC time at The Kahala, shoots!
